PERFORMANCE: West Middlesex University Hospital Trust has scored well on the initial trial results for the new “Friends and Family” test of patient satisfaction.

A report to the board said of the three wards where it was trialled: “The early results are extremely promising with over 89 per cent of patients saying that they are either extremely likely or likely to recommend WMUH to their family and friends.

“The free text data has also been very encouraging. However, this is small sample covering only selected areas.”
