Notice has dropped into the End Game inbox of an “exclusive interview” published with Care Quality Commission interim chair Dame Jo Williams.
It appeared someone at least had been able to hold to account the regulator, which registrants are having to fund (then patiently wait to somehow be reimbursed).
Sadly, it was quickly revealed the “exclusive” was with “the Care Quality Commission news room blog”. It includes such probing questions as: “What attracted you to working with CQC?” and: “What’s a typical Sunday morning like in your house?”
The blog is worth a read, but strangely we can find no mention of the arrival of NHS East of England chief executive Sir Neil McKay to provide “challenge” to the registration process.
