The crazy ideas primary care trusts come up with to cut sexually transmitted infections among teenagers seemingly know no limits
Northumberland, Tyne and Wear’s chlamydia screening programme asked youngsters for ideas on how to raise awareness of chlamydia and the importance of screening. A board game modelled on Monopoly, thought up by the Southwick Neighbourhood Youth Project, was one of the winners.
Other ideas included a Top Trumps-style card game and a board game titled “Who Wants to Be a Chlamydiaire”. Top marks for initiative - will they be getting played in homes across the region this Christmas?
