PERFORMANCE: The primary care trust said 25 of its services have now met the highest standards of care for young people, as judged by the patients themselves.
The services have been accredited as reaching Level 3 by “EEFO”, a unique local scheme that officially determines which services are young people-friendly in Cornwall.
In total, 200 services locally have now met the EEFO Level 1 quality standards, 31 have achieved Level 2 and 25 have reached Level 3.
Achieving the EEFO Level 3 standards – developed in partnership with young people –demonstrates an excellent commitment to meeting the needs of young people locally and ensures these services are providing a young person friendly service.
EEFO is designed to help young people aged from 13 to 19 to access the services, help and support they need so they can make informed choices.
