PERFORMANCE: Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust has been issued with a performance notice in relation to the death of a child in its short break service.
NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly raised concerns about the quality of the service and the trust’s failure to provide a “60 day report” for the serious incident which happened in February. The performance notice was issued in June.
A report to the board of the mental health trust stated: “Bi-weekly monitoring of a comprehensive action plan is taking place to ensure all actions have been satisfactorily addressed in line with agreed time scales.
“Plans are in place to deliver all agreed actions by 8 August 2011 in accordance with the action plan.”
