STRUCTURE: Coventry and Rugby clinical commissioning group have set out plans to transform mental health services in their area.
If implemented, their plans will redesign services provided by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust.
The plans are detailed in a “transformational change programme” set out in July’s board reports.
Commissioners plan to establish four “integrated practice units” across the Coventry and Warwickshire area. These will each be focused on delivering a set of outcomes for adult mental health patients.
There will also be two specialist inpatient centres at Marston Green and the Aspen Centre, and three integrated practice units for children’s services.
A single point of access for Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust services will be set up, with the aim of providing patients a “simplified and seamless pathway into care.”
