PERFORMANCE: The Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust has told HSJ it has secured the backing of the Midlands SHA to go through to the next step of its bid to become a foundation trust.
The mental health, community service and learning disability trust will now go forward to be assessed by the Department of Health during the summer. If it gets DH approval to go to Monitor the trust could be granted FT status as soon as early 2013.
Director of business transformation Roisin Fallon said: “We are really pleased. Everybody in the trust has worked so hard to make sure that we are improving all the time in what we provide in terms of quaity and productivity.
“It is a credit to everybody in the organisation.”
