PERFORMANCE: Dartford and Gravesham Trust looked set to miss its yearly target for C difficile by nearly 50 per cent, according to latest board papers.

Up to 15 March, the trust had 28 cases of C difficile. It set a target total of 20 cases for 2011-12. The most cases were recorded during September, November and January.

However, the trust remained on target for MRSA, the board papers indicated. By 15 March it had recorded three cases for the year against a target of two.
