PERFORMANCE: GP surgeries in the Durham Dales are not calling enough patients for health checks to meet targets.
The CCG’s governing body heard that only 12.6 per cent of eligible patients had been invited for health checks by the end of the third quarter of last year. The target for the full year is that 20 per cent should have been offered the health check.
Eight practices across County Durham - including some in the CCG’s area - had recorded zero activity.
