PERFORMANCE: The trust again missed waiting times targets in June, with “red” ratings against three key performance measures.
Board papers show that East Cheshire treated just 62.1 per cent of admitted patients within 18 weeks, against a target of 90 per cent, its latest performance report shows.
The papers say 95 per cent of admitted patients were treated within 35.2 weeks, against a target of less than 23 weeks; and 95 per cent of non-admitted patients were treated within 22 weeks, against a target of less than 18.3 weeks.
The board report states: “The trust was aiming to achieve the standards after June following the clearance of a backlog of long-waiting patients after the pressures of winter. New plans are now in place to achieve at September end.”
