STRUCTURE: A “last call” for the public to have their say on the future of maternity services has been issued by the NHS Kent and Medway PCT cluster.

The final public meeting to support a public consultation on the future of maternity services in east Kent will take place in Ramsgate on Wednesday 11 January.

The three-month consultation process will come to an end on 20 January, when all of the responses will be sent for analysis by an independent research team at the University of Greenwich.

The consultation is being led by NHS Kent and Medway, and East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

Members of the public, along with midwives, GPs and staff, are being asked for their views on three options, which are set out at: www.easternandcoastalkent.nhs.uk/maternityreview.
