STRUCTURE: Frimley Park NHS Foundation Trust shed around 50 beds from its capacity over nine months last year.   

According to the FT’s latest operational performance report, the FT had 770 in April 2011.

However this was steadily reduced over the nine months to December, when the report said it had 718 beds.

Those lost were all “overnight” general and acute beds, with the compliment falling from 593 to 541.

The trust also has 70 “day only” general and acute beds, 68 overnight “other” beds, including maternity, and 39 private beds.
