FINANCE: Clinical commissioning groups in Hampshire are seeking an unachievable level of quality, innovation, productivity and prevention savings from Frimley Park Hospital Foundation Trust, the acute believes.
It noted in board papers for April that it had been involved in negotiations with the three main CCG groupings of Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.
However, the board papers stated: “Hampshire commissioners would like to include a significantly higher savings (QIPP) level than other commissions at £3.6m (c3.3%).
“FPH is not convinced that the CCG has achievable schemes to reduce activity by this amount,” they added.
