FINANCE: 2gether Foundation Trust has seen a 25 per cent increase in its income for 2011-12 after acquiring a number of new services.

The mental health trust is planning for an income of £107.5m, most of which is through block contracts. As well as providing services in Gloucestershire,the trust has been providing mental health services for Herefordshire from 1 April following a transfer under the transforming community services programme worth £20m a year.

Gloucester Prison healthcare Services and integrated drug treatment services including alcohol services have also transferred to the trust under TCS and the organisation won a tender to provide children and young people’s services in Gloucestershire.

The trust, which finished 2010-11 with a £2.1m surplus has a £4.7m cost improvement plan for 2011-12. Savings plan includes rationalisation of estate.
