PERFORMANCE: Patients waiting a long time for treatments or diagnostic tests are a concern for NHS Norfolk and Waveney.

The board heard there were 52 patients at Norfolk and Norwich University Foundation Trust who have waited more than a year but these are all expected to be treated by the New Year.

However, there has also been an increase in breaches of the six and 13 week wait targets for diagnostics.

At both James Paget University Hospitals Foundation Trust and NNUH the number of patients waiting for more than six weeks for diagnostic tests increased sharply between August and October, with 319 patients across the area waiting longer than six weeks.
