STRUCTURE: All GP practices in Bolton are now part of a single emerging clinical commissioning group, Bolton Health Consortium.
Previously there was one larger and one smaller group of practices, considering working independently. The PCT confirmed they had now all agreed to join one. The chair is Dr Wirin Bhatiani, shadow accountable officer is Su Long, and the CCG has been delegated £113m - 25 per cent of the PCT’s budget.
