STRUCTURE: West Hampshire clinical commissioning group is to review its usage of a minor injuries unit at the Royal South Hampshire hospital.
CCG board papers say the unit, which is operated by University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust, is “subject to a re-procurement by the CCG”.
The CCG is to begin a programme of patient engagement in relation to urgent care, as part of a national “listening exercise” led by NHS England.
The papers say: “As a part of this, the CCG will review usage of its walk in centres and the minor injuries unit at the Royal South Hants hospital”.
