PERFORMANCE: NHS Haringey has asked its Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) provider for an action plan to improve performance.

A report to the North Central London primary care trust cluster board last month said: “Whittington Health Trust provides IAPT services for Haringey patients. The numbers currently entering treatment are not in line with increased investment for 2012-13.

“North Central London has noted that the ratio of high to low intensity workers is far above NICE guidance. Provisional data for July and August shows improvement with year-to-date position at 1,065 which is encouraging against Q2 plan of 1,202 with one month remaining.”

It added: “The trust has been requested to provide an action plan and recovery trajectory demonstrating improvement in year on IAPT performance.”
