PERFORMANCE: A report to the board of North West London Hospitals Trust said A&E attendance was 13 per cent above plan at the end of August because of the late opening of an urgent care centre.
The finance report said: “Within this total [13 per cent oversperformacne], NHS Harrow has over-performed by 87 per cent partially due to the urgent care centre at Northwick Park Hospital not being fully operational from April 1.”
The document added: “Out-patient attendances are 9 per cent above planned levels. NHS Brent and NHS Harrow over-performed by 8 per cent and 17 per cent respectively. Other PCTs are over-performing by 1 per cent.”
