STRUCTURE: The north-east London primary care trust reported it had planned to issue the memo of information and expression of interest documents for Queens Polyclinic but the idea is now under review.
A document published by the PCT said: “Further to a meeting on Thursday with local GP Consortia leads it has been agreed with NHS Havering commissioners to review the concept of Queens Polyclinic against emerging strategic themes.
“As such NHS Havering are not yet in a position to publish the MOI. It is essential that the scheme is embedded in a collaborative approach with our local primary care partners and I can confirm that work is now ongoing to revisit the precise model of care and tender offer.”
It added: “You will also know that the NHS is a rapidly changing environment at present.”
The GP-led health centre was to have included an urgent care centre.
The document said and a bidder information event scheduled for February 18 had been cancelled.
