COMMERICAL: The Homerton, as the designated hospital for the 2012 London Olympics, has been given permission to use the sporting event’s famous five-ringed logo.

In her report to the board in January, trust chief executive Nancy Hallett said: “She was pleased to announce that the trust had received formal notification from the International Olympic Committee that the Olympic logo can be used by the trust.”

She added that a plaque from the International Olympic Committee will be displayed in the main entrance of the hospital.
