STRUCTURE: The new urgent care centre will be managed by Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare Trust for a year while NHS Hounslow decides on a longer-term provider

The chief executive of WMUH’s report to the November board said the development “will free up the A&E department to care for patients who need emergency care due to a major accident or have suffered a serious medical incident.

“We are currently working with the project team on the staffing arrangements for both our A&E Department and the new UCC.  This is a major piece of work for the trust but we will continue to ensure that any disruption to the service is minimised and that we remain focused on delivering our high quality performance during the winter months.”
