PERFORMANCE: The west London primary care trust’s performance report anticipated the percentage of patients able to see their GP within 48 hours would fall by 5.5 per cent.
Last year the PCT achieved 74 per cent against a target of 85 per cent.
The PCT had hoped to be no more than three per cent below the national average for this year but were behind by 7.5 and 6.5 per cent in the second and third quarters of the year.
The trust was also predicting being 10 per cent behind the national average on patients sataified with GP opening hours.
In 2009-10 77 per cent reported they were satisfied with the opening hours.
