The HSJ Value Awards recognise outstanding NHS teams, working across three key areas – Transformation, Clinical & Medical Services, and Operational & Corporate Services. The projects and initiatives included on the shortlist have all made a difference to patient outcomes or the way things are run across the shortlisted organisations.
Out of more than 350 entries, 160 projects were selected as finalists for this year’s awards programme including; Transformation of OPAT services to improve capacity and patient experience, the Hand Hygiene Improvement Programme and Living Well at Home Redesign through collaborative care planning. The final round of judging will take place at the end of March when shortlisted organisations will present their projects to our panel of experts and NHS leaders.
Alastair McLellan, HSJ editor, said “Now more than ever, the NHS needs to provide efficiency and innovative solutions across individual organisations to deliver improved patient experience, whilst saving on budget.
This year’s HSJ Value Awards finalists are of an extraordinary calibre and are exceptionally dedicated to enhancing the way that care is delivered across the NHS.”
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 21 May 2020 in Manchester Central, Manchester.
