Chief executive, The King’s Fund
Chris Ham (pictured) rose to prominence as professor of health policy and management at Birmingham University. From 2000-04 he was director of the strategy unit at the DH, working with ministers on NHS reform. As one of the UK’s leading policy experts he will be passing a critical eye over the coalition’s plans for health reform and prompting debate. He is much in demand by the media for his pithily declared views.
