PERFORMANCE: Fourteen acute trusts in the capital were missing the threshold for assessing new patients for venuous thromboembolism on admission.
The target is for 90 per cent of patients to be assessed, with 15 trusts making this target and 14 not.
Imperial, Newham and South London Healthcare Trust were the worst with percentages of 20, 31 and 33 per cent respectively.
The figures for June were revealed in the September papers of NHS London’s performance committee.
