PERFORMANCE: Imperial College Healthcare Trust plans to hit the 92 per cent target for elective waiting times in August, board papers reveal.

The west London teaching hospital trust is currently just above the 90 per cent, where it has been for most of 2015-16.

The trust also has 14 patients who have waited more than a year for treatment, according to its April board papers.

A report to the board said: ”This mainly relate[s] to patients waiting for surgical treatment.” It said a theatre refurbishment programme had also had an effect.
