STRUCTURE: Kettering General Hospital Foundation Trust has appointed a pair of senior managers to join its new chief executive, David Sissling.
Alan Gurney has joined the trust as chief operating officer and began in his role on 1 April, at the same time as the former chief executive of NHS Wales.
Mark Smith has been appointed as director of human resources and organisational development. Mr Smith will start his role on 2 June.
Mr Gurney has been working with the trust as divisional director (urgent care and medicine).
His previous posts include deputy chief operating officer (Surgery) University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire Trust and emergency care transformation programme manager at Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust.
Mr Smith joins the trust from Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, where he was director of people development.
