FINANCE: The south London acute trust’s income from NHS London held steady at £1m in 2011-12, the same level as 2010-11.
NHS London handed out £40m to nine London specialist providers in 2011-12, compared to £50m in 2010-11.
The money is intended to mitigate the losses the trusts faced from a loss of research and development funding.
