FINANCE: Kirklees CCG has warned a forecast overspend of £165,000 with Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust.

The CCG’s latest financial performance board papers also warn that forecasts show a gross over performance £4.5m to the end of the year.

It warns however that the main variance the CCG has with the trust is over the performance on unplanned admissions forecast to be overspent by £4m by the end of the year.

The board papers state that the CCG is working with the trust to “understand the reasons for this, and effective management of unplanned admissions is a key strand of the ongoing transformational work.”
