FINANCE: NHS Leicestershire County and Rutland, along with the Eastern Leicestershire CCG, is to receive £4m from the Department of Health to redevelop integrated primary, community and mental health services.
Prime minister David Cameron announced on 6 March that around £330m of extra funding would be spent on providing “state of the art” equipment and facilities to improve services for patients.
The money will be handed out in 2012-13.
