FINANCE: The area has been chosen as a pilot scheme for introducing payment by results for drug and alcohol services.
It is one of eight areas chosen to pilot the idea. Lincolnshire County Council and NHS Lincolnshire are working together on the project, which is intended to bring about better value for money.
The pilot is due to be fully operating from October 2011.
Tony McGinty, joint assistant director of public health, said: “We expect to see people improve their overall health, reduce offending and get back into employment.”
