PERFORMANCE: The community trust this month recorded 10 breaches of the Department of Health’s guidelines on mixed sex accommodation.

It was the only community trust, care trust or primary care trust level provider to do so.

Latest data for July – based on returns from all 167 acute trusts in England – shows it breached the guidelines 10 times.

The trust has consistently been the only community level provider to report breaches since the start of monthly data recording and fines in April. It reported 14 breaches in June, 10 in May and nine in April.

With the exception of Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, the community trust was the only non acute trust to breach the guidelines in July.

By region, the majority of mixed sex breaches, 346, were in NHS London followed by the NHS South East Coast with 271.

The worst acute sector offenders were Barts and the London NHS Trust and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
