PERFORMANCE: More than 98 per cent of admitted patients treated by the foundation in October were completed within 18 weeks, latest Department of Health data shows.

Across the country only 10 providers reported a higher proportion of patients treated within the timeframe in that month. The national target for admitted patients treated within 18 weeks is 90 per cent, against which Liverpool Women’s scored 98.3 per cent.

The specialist foundation’s performance against the target was the highest in the North West, very narrowly ahead of general acute the Countess of Chester Hospital FT, which recorded 98.1.
