The latest Friends and Family test score for Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals Foundation Trust lies at 68, just below the target of 70.
The score for accident and emergency was way below target at 38.9.
The trust’s October board papers state: “Recent, published data show wide variation in the scores for A&E departments (from 20 to 75) and the trust will reconsider the appropriateness of this target for A&E.”
The trust also missed its in-hospital death rate target of 86, scoring 91 by the end of September.
However, the trust also managed to avoid any cases of MRSA across a year.
The target to discharge 66 per cent of patients from A&E before 3pm each day has not been met in any month so far in this year to date. At the end of September the average for the first half of the year was 48.9 per cent.
