PERFORMANCE: James Paget University Hospital Foundation Trust missed a number of targets over the summer, the council of governors heard.
These included MRSA, when it was one case over target; treatment within 28 days of cancellation; and initial assessment of A&E patients - where the trust missed a target of assessing the 95 percentile of patients by 15 minutes, only managing 126 minutes.
The governors were told that the percentage of targets that the trust was not currently achieving had risen to 24 per cent in August from 12 per cent in April and four per cent of targets were causing concern about year end forecast.
