PERFORMANCE: The trust this month recorded the highest number of breaches of the Department of Health’s guidelines on mixed sex accommodation.

Latest data for July – based on returns from all 167 acute trusts in England – show the trust breached the guidelines on 205 occasions.

It remains the trust with the worst performance against the indicator, having overtaken the previous worst performer, Barts and the London NHS Trust, in June.

By region, the majority of breaches, 346, were in NHS London followed by the NHS South East Coast with 271.
