FINANCE: Three clinical commissioning groups in the West Midlands have agreed to a plan to help them mitigate potential risks for the year ahead.

Dudley CCG, Wolverhampton CCG and Walsall CCG have entered into a risk-sharing agreement where 0.5 per cent of resource is held back to cover unexpected pressures.

Risk sharing arrangements are also being developed with providers for individual initiatives, to incentivise their implementation and constrain financial risk across the health economy in the Black Country region.
