FINANCE: Milton Keynes CCG is grappling with a £10m over-performance on acute services.
Recent finance board papers show that the CCG’s contract with Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is £7.2m over budget.
It states that this expenditure is due to trust’s over-performance on services provided under the national tariff and drugs and devices outside of tariff.
Meanwhile the figures show that the contracts it has with other acute NHS trusts are over-performing by £1m year to date.
It says that this mainly relates to Oxford Radcliffe (£0.5m over), Bedford General (£0.6m over), Luton and Dunstable (£0.3m over) and Papworth (£0.1m over).
