Christine Davies invites HSJ readers to make a submission to the Narrowing the Gap project's evidence panel.

Narrowing the Gap aims to make a significant difference, on a national scale, to the performance of children's trust arrangements in reducing inequalities and narrowing the gap in outcomes for vulnerable children.

We are asking people who work in children's services and are involved in the day-to-day business of narrowing the gap to tell us about about successful programmes, projects or processes people are using, with details of the impact they are having or the outcomes being achieved as a result.

Your readers may have important information and evidence that would assist us and we would be delighted to hear from them. Written submissions will all be considered and used in the materials published by the project.

Some of the people making submissions may also be invited to attend a hearing at the House of Commons to discuss in greater depth the material they have sent to us and to help us explore further our key lines of inquiry. The panel will be sitting in March 2008.

Submissions should be sent electronically by29 February2008to
