Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust has employed a new medical director who starts today.

Jonathan Bindman joins the trust from South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust (SLaM) where for the last three years he has been clinical director of the Mood Anxiety and Personality Clinical Academic Group at South London and Maudsley Trust and King’s Health Partners.

Maria Kane, the trust’s chief executive said: “I am delighted to welcome Dr Bindman to the trust. The post attracted a number of high calibre candidates but we felt that Dr Bindman’s experience and expertise would be best suited to help the trust to continue to deliver on its commitment to excellence. I would also like to thank Dr Marc Lester for his help and support during the interim period and his role in developing and implementing the trust’s clinical strategy.”
