Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group has appointed the STP lead for south west London as its new chief executive.
Kathryn Magson will take up her new post on 1 April, and she will also see resign from her role as accountable officer for Richmond CCG.
Ms Magson has almost a decade of senior level NHS experience, including working for Ealing CCG as its chief operating offficer and for NHS North West London Commissioning Support.
She takes over from Cameron Ward, who has been acting as interim accountable officer since June.
A spokeswoman for Richmond CCG told HSJ: “As part of our sustainability and transformation plan, we are proposing that we have a single accountable officer for five CCGs and we are currently in the process of recruiting to this position.
“The STP lead will be agreed following the appointment of the accountable officer.”
The accountable officer will cover four CCGs from April 2017, Kingston, Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth, and from April 2018 the same person will also cover Sutton CCG.
