PERFORMANCE: Sherwood Forest Hospitals Foundation Trust is failing to hit the Department of Health target that no patient should wait 52 weeks on an incomplete referral to treatment pathway.

Board papers for the Newark and Sherwood CCG said the trust had experience specialty breaches in the admitted and non-admitted pathways for February 2013.

It added: “In addition, early indications show that SFHFT has not achieved the DoH target that no patient should wait longer than 52 weeks on an incomplete pathway. The trust has provided a set of trajectories to achieve RTT targets for the month of March, together with a recovery plan. The CCGs are meeting with the trust on a weekly basis to monitor performance and progress towards achievement.”
