FINANCE: Norfolk Community Health and Care Trust made a surplus of £2.6 for the first 11 months of 2012-13 – nearly twice what it had originally forecast.  The trust expects the final surplus for the year to be around the same figure.

However, a report to the March board highlighted some underlying concerns including cost pressures, not achieving recurrent cost improvements and underachievement against CQUIN. The trust also spent £434,000 on agency and bank cover during February.
