COMMERCIAL: Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust has been awarded a £17.7m contract to run the Suffolk Wellbeing Service (SWS) aimed at helping patients manage stress, anxiety and depression.

The service will begin in July and will be delivered in partnership with a range of voluntary organisations and has been commissioned by NHS Suffolk for a minimum three year period. The contract is worth £5.9m a year.

SWS will be available to people aged 13 and over who is registered with a GP in the NHS Suffolk area. Interventions will be delivered within the community, while waiting times from referral to the person accessing services will be a maximum of 10 days.
