PERFORMANCE Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals Foundation Trust missed the four-hour A&E target in January, according to commissioners. 

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough clinical commissioning group board papers for its April meeting said: The [four-hour A&E target] was delivered across all providers apart from Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals Foundation Trust in January, but performance at Cambridge University Hospitals has deteriorated in recent weeks.

“Actions to improve performance include the attendance of senior management at daily capacity meetings. Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals has committed to delivering 95 per cent for Quarter 4 as a whole.”
