PERFORMANCE: Hinchingbrooke continues to be ranked worst in the East of England for delayed transfers of care 35 occupied bed days due to delays per 100 admissions.
A performance report by NHS East of England said delayed transfers of care across the region “have worsened in January 2011, reflecting winter pressures experienced, however this is not a significant deterioration”.
But, it said: “Hinchingbrooke remains the worst ranked trust in the region on this indicator. Given the previous action plans in place across the system to address this issue, the pace of progress is disappointing.”
The report noted that the trust had 35 delayed transfers of care occupied bed days per 100 admissions in January.
