Board in place for Hillingdon Healthwatch

Before its launch, Hillingdon council will register the company with the charity commission and have it assume the existing functions of Hillingdon LINk, as well as arranging for staff to transfer from the latter.

The Hillingdon Hospitals chief executive report notes:  “Whilst Hillingdon council has supported the process for recruitment and will similarly ensure registration and start up, the company will be independent and stand alone. Once in place, the local authority’s responsibility will be to ensure value for money through the contract.”
