FINANCE: Northampton General Hospital Trust has the most challenging quality, innovation, productivity and prevention target of any provider in the region, according to its finance plan.
The trust’s target is worth just over 7 per cent of turnover. This compares with Nottingham University Hospital and University Hospitals of Leicester and United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trusts’ targets, all around around 5 per cent.
Others, including Leicestership Partnership Trust and East Midlands Ambulance Service, are closer to 4 per cent.
The average for NHS trusts across the country is 5.1 per cent.
