PERFORMANCE: The Bruce Keogh mortality review team is due to visit hospitals in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole on 5 June 2013.
East Riding of Yorkshire CCG notes in its latest bulletin that Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the 14 hospital trusts nationally being reviewed, after having higher than expected mortality ratios in two successive years.
It says:”A Rapid Response Review team will visit hospitals in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole on 5 June 2013. To coincide with this a number of listening surgeries will give CCGs, staff, patients and the public an opportunity to speak with the Review team face to face.
“The views from commissioners will be used to shape Key Lines of Enquiry. Following the Rapid Response visit a CCG-led Risk Summit, informed by the reports from the Review teams, will consider and agree what additional action may be needed.”
